Preschool & School Age (6-8) Camp Options
At Aprende con Amigos our summer camps ensure children “learn with friends” through an exciting, well-balanced and active learning environment. You may enroll your child for as many weeks as you wish and there is a multi-week discount, as well as a sibling discount. Whether your child is being exposed to Spanish for the first time or is completely fluent, there will be something for everyone.

Camp sessions for Preschoolers run from June 27 through August 19, and are held at Aprende con Amigos. Camp sessions for 6-8 year olds run July 11 through August 5, and are held at Beach Elementary School. We hope to see you there!

Half Day: Drop off between 8:00am and 8:30am. Pick up between 12:20pm and 12:40pm

(Flexible drop off/pick up times designed to accommodate families with children in camps at both locations.)

Half Day: Camp begins at 8:30am at Beach Elementary (a few blocks from Aprende con Amigos). Pick up is at 12:30pm.
Full Day: Camp begins at 8:30am at Beach Elementary (a few blocks from Aprende con Amigos). Pick up is at 3:00pm.

2011 Summer Camp Themes
Each summer, we pick summer camp themes to engage young learners in activities such as science experiments, art projects, cooking sessions, dramatic play, creative writing, shared reading, and more!

Up In Space
This camp will focus on building both basic Spanish vocabulary such as colors, shapes and numbers, as well as more focused space vocabulary through fun, hands-on experiences. During this camp students will have the opportunity to conduct experiments with light, design works of art using solar energy, create constellations, and have fun creating a space station to pretend in! Down In The Sea
This camp will focus on building basic Spanish vocabulary and simple sentence structures focused on the sea. Child will have fun making fish prints, creating sand castle works of art, conducting sink or float experiments, and will even be able to observe and record changes as they watch tadpoles grow into frogs! Multiple Week Discount
Available to students who attend more than one week of one or both camps. The first week of camp is offered at regular price. The additional camp weeks include a Multiple Week Discount of $20.00 off each additional full-day camp week or $10.00 off each additional half-day camp week. Invalid with other discounts.

Sibling Discount
Available to siblings who attend the same camp the same week. First child registers at regular tuition price. Second child takes $20.00 off full-day camp tuition or $10.00 off half-day camp tuition. Invalid with other discounts.

Lunches and Snacks
All students should pack a healthy lunch according to their dietary needs. Organic 2% milk will be provided with lunch. Please pack a drink if you do not want you’re your child to have milk with lunch. Organic and/or all natural snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon each day.
